Must be able to configure IDM, Flow management, and VIC (Vignette Image Capture). PeopleSoft is a nice to have. We need an experienced technical analyst and developer with hands on experience implementing Vignette. You will collaborate with the Business and Technology teams to elicit and document imaging requirements. You will perform fit-gap analysis, and author detailed functional design documents, and you will capture the application integration requirements by integrating detailed processes, data and application integration components into an end-to-end solution. With your hands on experience with the various components of an imaging solution, including scanning, indexing, and the IDM Repository, you will be able to help decide the appropriate integration approach for the current solution. You will be responsible for designing, documenting, configuring, and coding the application. You will also need to integrate the solution to the workflows inside PeopleSoft General Ledger and Accounts Payable applications which are being implemented. You will develop test scripts and test data; assist with testing, and deployment and post implementation support from a business perspective. You may also assist with the design of data extraction, conversion, and load routines, interfaces, conversions, reports and forms. Must have the ability to facilitate technical issue resolution, have clear and concise communication, and be able to negotiate and document agreements reached, especially regarding technical changes. Also prefer that the candidate have some background in Finance. Candidate must be able to function independently. Up to 25% travel. Key Responsibilities Designing and building scalable web-based applications, prototypes, and 'go-live' features. Participating in developing use cases, and feature requirements. Act as a subject matter expert on building and scripting capabilities and limitations, contributing this expertise throughout the company as needed. Partner with stakeholders to ensure all consumer facing features and designs are on spec, easy to use, bug free, scalable, and documented. Contribute to task identification, work estimates, and schedules for development related activities. Work with other internal department members to assist with requirements definition and web development needs. Contribute to recommendations on how the company can best leverage web and other related technologies. B.A./B.S. degree in computer science, or related field. 4 - 6 years of experience in front-end web development with emphasis in building consumer products. Ability to turn creative designs/layouts into finished product – strong sense for user-friendly interface design. Expert in Object Oriented design, architecture design. Experience in Test Driven development, and/or unit testing in UI layer is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency with HTML, CSS, ASP/JSP, JavaScript, DHTML, and XML is required. Ability to write code from scratch as well as interpret and modify the code of others is also required. Knowledge of Java, Flash, ActionScript, Weblogic, SQL, REST, SOA, Struts, MVC designs, a definite plus. Strong understanding of current web browser rendering differences and standards. |
